E-learn is a Malaysian based online training institution. The company offers a platform for digital learning where various customers can purchase and view pre-recorded educational classes or schedule a local class that they can attend in-person. Our client offers a large variety of offerings and wanted a way to display and market the various available courses. E-Learn was a relatively new company, and because our consultation process began much earlier than our other clients, we needed to work closely with the company to help design the overall brand, and transactional logistics.

We began by developing a website that could be easily accessed by both desktop and mobile platforms, and remain responsive throughout. We developed an overall company design to help our client put their services into a greater and more cohesive context. While E-Learn is still an eCommerce platform, we needed to design a different mechanism so the material could not be copied or distributed without approval. During the consultation, we decided that any videos or services that were purchased, would only be accessible when users were on the website. Visitors would be able to purchase their videos within the website, and could study and rewatch without a digital download. We also installed a basic CMS for easy content management. The site would be updated with new videos and offerings constantly, so we wanted administrative work to be user-friendly and painless. Within that CMS system, we created a function that allowed providers to communicate one-on-one with the user once they were logged into their account. Finally, we decided that implementing a Facebook and WhatsApp chat integration would be helpful given that the service entirely relies on the ability to relay large quantities of information. This would allow for direct user assistance, both on the part of the site’s administrators and individual service providers.
